The board is composed of four widely respected automotive industry veterans whose experience includes executive roles at Toyota, Honda, General Motors, Hyundai and Ford, among others.
Collectively, John Mendel, James Press, Frederiek Toney, and Tim Turvey bring decades of OEM, dealer, and supplier leadership experience that will help guide WarrCloud’s expansion and partnership strategy across the automotive ecosystem.
The Board’s primary objective will be to assist WarrCloud with OEM strategies as the industry moves to streamline and automate more of the warranty claims process. OEMs stand to benefit from this transformation through faster access and higher-quality warranty data, which can lead to improved product quality insights. According to NADA, collectively the automotive OEMs spent over $28 billion on warranty in the U.S. in 2024.
“Our OEM Advisory Board brings together some of the most accomplished leaders in the global automotive industry,” said Jim Roche, Founder and CEO, WarrCloud. “Each member of this powerhouse board has firsthand experience with the complexities OEMs face in warranty operations. Their guidance will be invaluable as we work to transform the warranty ecosystem with AI, data intelligence, and a new level of visibility for manufacturers and dealers.
The new OEM Advisory board stated. “We are pleased to be founding members of the Advisory Board for WarrCloud, because we recognize a clear opportunity to modernize an important area of the industry that has remained largely unchanged. WarrCloud’s technology and expertise are well positioned to lead that change – delivering a win for OEMs, a win for dealers, and a win for customers. That shared value is why we are all in as the industry evolves toward more automated and efficient warranty operations.”
