Parts sourcing is becoming another pressure point for dealers trying to get used vehicles frontline-ready.
Nexpart Multi-Seller is pitching its parts-sourcing platform to used-vehicle, reconditioning and fixed-operations teams, allowing dealers to check inventory and pricing across more than 53,000 seller locations without moving between multiple supplier websites and logins.
The company cited industry research showing used-vehicle reconditioning can take as long as 11 days, while the top 20% of dealers complete the process in fewer than four days. It also estimates vehicle holding costs at $32 to $40 per day, meaning a seven-day difference could represent roughly $224 to $280 in holding costs per vehicle.
The platform combines aftermarket, OE dealer inventory, heavy-duty parts and tires in one search. Nexpart said more than 70 tire suppliers participate in the network.
For recon teams, features include saved parts packages for recurring jobs, availability checks across local and remote suppliers, and comparisons of aftermarket and OE parts. The platform also integrates with more than 30 DMS systems, including CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds and Dealertrack.
The platform also works in the other direction.
Nexpart said franchised dealers can use the network to market OE parts inventory to independent repair shops in their local markets. According to NADA Data 2025, franchised dealerships generated $24.54 billion in wholesale parts sales.
More than 478,000 professional parts buyers use the Nexpart network, according to the company.
“Every day a used vehicle waits on parts is a day it isn't available for sale,” said Matt Cashman, head of strategy at Nexpart.
