Test Drive To Go (TDTG) was built to remove the parts of car buying people dread most. The AI-powered platform lets consumers schedule their own test drive online, without picking up the phone or fending off a salesperson before they’re ready to talk.
According to CDK Global’s 2026 Friction Points Study, 78% of shoppers say the test drive sold them on the vehicle, yet more than half had to wait for one, and 58% hit a problem elsewhere last year.
“Nobody dreads the test drive. They dread everything around it: the hold times, the back-and-forth, the pressure to commit before they’re ready,” said Khalida Cook, co-founder and COO of Test Drive To Go. “We built TDTG for the person who wants to pick a car, pick a time, and show up without talking to anyone until they’re standing in front of the vehicle.”
Shoppers pick a vehicle, date, time, and location for their test drive on the dealership’s website, no call required. The dealership gets the details in advance so the car is staged and ready, and a follow-up email offers a link to continue the purchase online.
TDTG is available through participating dealerships nationwide, including a growing number linked via its integration with Cox Automotive’s Dealer.com platform.
