RB Global, Inc., a global marketplace for insights, services and transaction solutions for commercial assets and vehicles, announced that Ritchie Bros. will expand its February Orlando auction, the world’s largest heavy equipment auction, from five days to six. The auction runs from February 15 to 20, 2027, with on-site preview days from February 10 to 14, so buyers can inspect equipment in person before bidding opens.
The expansion builds on strong participation at the February 2026 event, which drew more than 19,500 registrants from over 80 countries. They bid on 14,500+ heavy equipment assets and vehicles, including 6,500+ pieces of construction equipment, 2,600+ trucks and trailers, 460+ consumer vehicles, 70+ lifting assets, and 55+ quarry and aggregate assets.
Orlando brings the full reach of the Ritchie Bros. marketplace into one event. That marketplace connects sellers with buyers in 190+ countries through 60+ full-service yards in 14 countries, more than 700 sales representatives, 400+ events a year and a 24/7 online marketplace. For sellers, this means their equipment is seen by a large international buyer base, and competitive bidding happens onsite and online at the same time.
“Orlando is where the industry comes together every February, and our customers have told us they want more of it,” said Jake Lawson, president, heavy equipment & transportation North America. “When a seller consigns here, their equipment goes in front of buyers from around the world in a single week. Adding a sixth day lets us offer more equipment and more selling options without losing the online and live, onsite energy that makes this event unique.”
Highlights include wheel loaders, motor graders, and articulated dump trucks crossing the ramp on Day 2. Day 3 features smooth drum and padfoot compactors and crawler tractors on the ramp, while cranes are sold by photo in the main auditorium. On Day 4, excavators will sell via sound truck in the yard. Day 6 closes the event with a TAL-only sale of consumer vehicles, including pickups, SUVs and automobiles, along with trailers.
“Whether customers join us in the stands, out in the yard or online from anywhere in the world, the February Orlando auction gives them access to one of the deepest selections of equipment on the calendar,” Lawson said. “We look forward to welcoming buyers and consignors back to Orlando.”
