A former office manager at Ferrari of San Antonio has been arrested on four felony charges after investigators allegedly uncovered more than $45,600 in unauthorized purchases and payments using dealership accounts.
Stephanie Nicole Tellez, 42, was arrested Monday, Oct. 19, according to an arrest affidavit cited by the San Antonio Express-News. She worked at the dealership, located on Interstate 10 on San Antonio's North Side, beginning in March 2024.
Investigators allege Tellez used a company credit card to make personal purchases at retailers including Walmart and H-E-B, and used dealership funds to pay personal utility, insurance and cellphone bills. The investigation also identified nearly $17,000 in unauthorized transactions involving a dealership gas card, including transactions allegedly made after she left the job.
According to the affidavit, the dealership's general manager contacted police in June after raising concerns about suspicious transactions and missing financial information.
Tellez faces charges including credit or debit card abuse, theft of property, fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, and misappropriation of fiduciary or financial property. She was released after posting $45,000 in bond, and a pre-indictment hearing was scheduled for Jan. 28, 2027.
