AutoNation Q4 Revenue Dips from 2025

AutoNation, Inc. reported fourth quarter 2025 revenue of $6.9 billion, a decrease of 4% compared to the same period a year ago.

Fourth quarter 2025 EPS was $4.70, compared to $4.64 a year ago, and fourth quarter Adjusted EPS was $5.08, compared to $4.97 a year ago. Full year 2025 revenue of $27.6 billion increased 3% from the same period a year ago. Full year 2025 EPS was $17.04 compared to $16.92 a year ago, and full year Adjusted EPS was $20.22, compared to $17.46 a year ago. Reconciliations of non-GAAP financial measures are included in the attached financial tables.

“We are pleased to report another quarter of strong performance with record gross profit in After-Sales and unit profitability in Customer Financial Services. For the full year we grew unit volume for both new and used vehicles, increased revenues across all our business lines and grew gross profit for After-Sales, Customer Financial Services and Used vehicles,” said Mike Manley, chief executive officer of AutoNation. “Full year adjusted earnings per share and Adjusted Free Cash flow increased significantly from a year ago, and we deployed significant capital for share repurchases and acquisitions to improve density in existing markets.
