The 4-week moving average was 210,500, a decrease of 250 from the previous week’s unrevised average of 210,750. The advance seasonally adjusted insured unemployment rate was 1.2% for the week ending March 14, unchanged from the previous week’s unrevised rate. The advance number for seasonally adjusted insured unemployment during the week ending March 14 was 1,819,000, a decrease of 32,000 from the previous week’s revised level. This is the lowest level for insured unemployment since May 25, 2024, when it was 1,804,000.
