ACV Announces Integration with DriveCentric

Critical Shifts:

  • Unlocking the Service Drive for Acquisition: The integration bridges ACV's ClearCar pricing engine and VIPER inspection platform with DriveCentric's Service Engagement Hub, giving dealers real-time valuation and vehicle data during routine service visits.

  • Efficiency and Revenue Growth in One Workflow: The unified system helps dealerships increase fixed-operations revenue through standardized digital inspections while automatically identifying high-quality trade opportunities without adding extra friction for advisors.

Dealers may have a largely untapped source of used-vehicle inventory sitting in their service lanes, and a new integration between ACV Auctions and DriveCentric aims to help them identify and acquire those vehicles. The companies announced a strategic integration connecting ACV’s ClearCar pricing engine and VIPER vehicle inspection, valuation and acquisition platform with DriveCentric’s Service Engagement Hub, a CRM platform designed for fixed operations.

The combined technology is designed to give service advisors and BDC teams vehicle-level insights throughout the service visit, including inspection results, service recommendations, valuations and potential trade-in or acquisition opportunities.

“Every day, dealerships have hundreds of customers driving into their service lane, representing one of the largest untapped sources of retail inventory,” said George Chamoun, CEO of ACV. “By integrating VIPER with DriveCentric, we’re enabling dealers to intelligently identify acquisition opportunities, standardize inspections, and create a better ownership experience for consumers.”

Turning Service Visits Into Acquisition Opportunities

The integration is designed to help dealers use routine service appointments to identify customers who may be candidates to sell or trade their vehicles. Digital multi-point inspections can provide standardized vehicle information, while ACV’s valuation and acquisition tools can help dealers determine whether a vehicle represents a potential inventory opportunity.

The companies also say the system can help fixed operations identify additional service opportunities, including tire replacement and other maintenance needs, while giving customers upgrade and trade-in options.

“The service drive is where dealerships see their customers most often, yet it’s been the most underserved part of the store,” said Joe Hampton, head of corporate development and partnerships at DriveCentric.

The integration is expected to be available to mutual dealership customers beginning in September 2026. ACV said the DriveCentric integration is part of a broader effort to connect its inspection, valuation and acquisition technology with service-drive software and dealer management systems.
