VinSolutions is rolling out a broad set of CRM upgrades designed to give dealership teams faster access to the tools they use most while incorporating AI into existing sales and customer-engagement workflows.
The Cox Automotive CRM provider said the upgrades were driven by direct dealer feedback and include a redesigned mobile app, an updated desktop interface, new AI-powered tools and a faster product-development cycle that will allow new capabilities to be released approximately every two weeks.
VinSolutions said dealers using its new AI-powered tools are already seeing measurable results. According to company data, dealers using the AI stack are selling 25% more vehicles per month and acquiring 37% more vehicles per month.
Among the new capabilities are:
Predictive Insights with GenAI uses behavioral, transactional and dealership first-party data to identify shoppers showing buying signals and generate personalized email and text communications. VinSolutions said its analysis found these shoppers were nine times more likely to purchase than shoppers who did not exhibit similar predictive signals.
Virtual Contact Assistant is an AI assistant built directly into the CRM that can engage and nurture leads, schedule appointments and answer more complex shopper questions around the clock. The system can turn the interaction over to a dealership employee when human involvement is needed.
VinSolutions Video will allow dealership employees to record, personalize, send and track video messages directly through the CRM from either mobile or desktop devices. The company expects the feature to become generally available in November 2026.
The company has also refreshed its mobile experience, with a redesigned app intended to make it easier for dealership personnel to manage customer activity while away from their desks. The updated desktop interface includes simplified navigation, light and dark modes, and changes intended to give managers a clearer view of team activity.
VinSolutions executives said the upgrades are part of a broader shift toward more frequent product development rather than longer development cycles.
“We asked dealers what would actually make a difference in their day, and we’ve delivered it,” said Jessica Stafford, SVP of Consumer Solutions. “We are moving fast on AI innovation and dealer feedback, and it shows in the results that are already here.”
Additional updates are planned, including further mobile improvements, refined task management and reporting, and inventory-acquisition leads from vAuto designed to help dealers identify potential acquisition opportunities through their service operations.
The new AI-powered tools are currently available to VinSolutions dealers.
