ECARX, a global automotive intelligence business, announced that its technologies have been deployed in more than 12 million vehicles worldwide, spanning 18 OEMs, 28 brands and 159 markets.
The milestone reflects the scale at which ECARX’s automotive technologies are being adopted across global vehicle programs. Built on a comprehensive in-vehicle intelligence technology stack, ECARX provides OEMs with core technologies spanning intelligent cockpit, vehicle software and OS-level solutions, centralized vehicle computing, and ADAS etc.
ECARX added more than 914,000 vehicle deployments in the first half of 2026. Its technologies support vehicle programs across brands including Geely, FAW-Hongqi, Lotus, Polestar, Volvo Cars, Renault and Volkswagen, spanning multiple vehicle platforms and technology domains. Beyond intelligent cockpit systems, ECARX has expanded into integrated computing and software platforms, enabling its technologies to support a broader range of vehicle functions.
ECARX is also expanding its software capabilities through its pending acquisition of Flyme Auto, an intelligent cockpit operating system that will bring proprietary end-to-end software capabilities into the business once the transaction closes. Flyme Auto has continued to build momentum, recently being nominated to provide software for a leading international luxury brand in China. From January through August 2026, Flyme Auto recorded more than 1.17 million cumulative vehicle deployments across its customer base, bringing total cumulative deployments to 3.44 million vehicles.
“Reaching more than 12 million vehicles is an important milestone for ECARX,” said Ziyu Shen, founder and CEO of ECARX. “Our growing footprint across OEMs, brands and markets reflects the trust of our customers and our ability to scale technology across different vehicle platforms. As the industry moves toward AI-defined vehicles, we will continue to bring together computing, software and AI to help global automakers build the next generation of intelligent vehicles.”
